I accepted a lowest bid proposal from a different local company, but just before installation the company's engineers realized that adding new panels to my existing inverter, as their salesman had proposed, was not feasible. <br />The salesman then made other (non-workable) suggestions, at which point I turned to Positive Energy, whose original proposal was the only technically correct one, requiring a second inverter (explaining their higher bid!).<br />After experiencing a many month delay dealing with the low bidder, Positive Energy got to work promptly. Their expertise in dealing with the local HOA Architectural Committee, the grid operator, and sate regulators was most impressive, as was the competence of the installation crew. <br />Now both my home and electric car are run solely on solar! I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Second choice turned out by far to be best!
