We had initially looked at one of the largest firms to put in solar. However, they came back and said that we would need to replace our existing flat rock roof. After researching the cost of a new roof, we decided to find a new solar company. I believe that the roofing company recommended Tad Rose and California Sun Systems (CSS). <br /><br />Tad came out to take the measurements and said that we were ideally situated to put in the amount of solar panels to cover 80% of our expected annual electrical usage. As it turned out, we ended up replacing the roof due to age (28 years) and a small leak we could never fix. Johnny came out and installed the stand-offs in coordination with the new roofing making sure there was no possibility of a leak.<br /><br />We decided to lease the solar system instead of purchasing it so that CSS would take care of any problems that might occur over the next 20 years. Unfortunately for us and CSS the leasing company was a new company and definitely did not have their act together resulting in delays in installing the system. Tad must have the patience of Job in dealing with the leasing company but never complained once about the problems he encountered. <br /><br />Johnny did a great job, nice and tidy, installing not only the panels on the roof but also the inverter in the garage which was Johnny's recommended location. We have been very pleased with the output of the system and really enjoy receiving SCE bills of less than $2 per month. We are also building up a substantial bank of kWh to offset the winter months.<br /><br />Tad, Johnny and all the others at CSS were highly professional and we highly recommend them to anybody.<br /><br />Down tick on "On Schedule" due to problems with the leasing company.
