After talking to seven different solar companies, I landed on Mike and crew at Mass Renewables. They are a great, professional, hard working team - that put up my solar system on some of the coldest days I can remember. I am the proud owner of 9.6KW, 300-w LG panel based system - and in the month of operation - couldn't be happier.<br /><br />I researched MR on BBB, watching their This Old House vid, calling references, and checking licenses. Everythingeveryone spoke very highly of the team. Mike is easy to work with and was happy to include me in the system design decisions.<br /><br />We started out with a simple layout on my main roof, but after thinking about everything, decided to go BIG. I asked Mike to lay out an array over my garage and a second on the main roof. We worked through a mix of inverter and monitoring options - landing on two different brands - doing so is a little out of the ordinary - but allowed me to obtain the full Mass-rebate AND have a solar powered 1500w emergency outlet. In addition, we decided on going with a more sophisticated monitoring system than is typical (so I can data-dive and mine to my heart's content) and Mike has been flexible.<br /><br />The electrician did a clean, beatiful install of the equipment in the garage. I kept going back and forth of where to lay out the equipment (basement utility room versus garage) and they were very flexible. The electrician wore booties and cleaned up after themselves!<br /><br />I highly recommend Mass Renewables.
