Review for EPCON Solar (OUT OF BUSINESS)

Liars, thieves and criminals!

My mother fell ill and she had to enter a assisted living facility. We spoke to Elijah the finance manager. We begged and pleaded with him to cancel the contract. It's been over 6 months and nothing has been installed on the roof. Elijah Chaffino told us that we would have to pay $2500 to cancel contract. That would cover the cost of the Aeroseal duct sealant installed in the home. We reluctantly agreed. 2 weeks later we received a letter from the Aeroseal contractor stating there was now a Lien on the home because Epcon Solar has refused to pay them for any of the jobs they installed. I have made a formal complaint to the Attorney Generals office. This company if absolutely the worst ever. No ethics, no morals, no conscience!

Epcon Solar was contacted by Ms. Main asking to cancel her contract due to her circumstance, therefore we cancelled her solar lease contract. Unfortunately at this point Epcon Solar had already invested thousands of dollars on Ms. Main's energy efficient products that we had already completed. Epcon Solar has all proper documentation with Ms. Main's signature agreeing if the client chooses to cancel their Photovoltaic lease they are still subject to retail pricing of all products and services rendered. Due to Ms. Main's situation Elijah did not charge Ms. Main for all of her fees and he also offered her all of her products at wholesale pricing, not retail. Also, per the Photovoltaic lease contract signed if the transaction is cancelled after the legal right of recision, the client agrees to pay 10% of the total value of their solar system. Again, due to Ms. Main's rare situation Epcon Solar did not collect the 10% owed. Legally and by rights Ms. Main owes a far greater amount than what we are ATTEMPTING to collect. To date, no payment has been made for the services and energy efficiency products rendered and installed. All the signed legal documents attesting to the information listed are on file.

In reference to the pre-lien, it is standard practice within the construction industry, however to date none of our clients have a LEGAL lien on their home from any of our subcontractors. If the subcontractor is trying to state otherwise please feel free to contact us so we can resolve this matter.

Epcon Solar is not in the business of doing anything unethical. We are here to help our clients and environment hence why we have retracted all fees that were not direct hard costs associated from the energy efficient products already installed in her home. As an example, if a car is purchased from the dealership and it is returned without the wheels the customer would have to pay for the wheels. We understand Ms. Main's circumstances and are doing everything in our power to help her and her situation. Should you have any further questions please feel free to contact us so that we can resolve all matters.

Sincerely,

Epcon Solar Management
