Usually yu get contractors. Rarely do you get one that listens to what YOU want and find ways to deliver it to you. I just finished having Highlight Solar install my EV solar system and it exceeded even my picky work demands.<br /><br />1. I have an Eichler house with a Armstrong (also the best roofers for Eichler houses) foam roof. This gave me 2 immediate issues. one is having damage to the roof due to abrasion and necessary mounting supports (roof water integrity. Highlight worked with them on re-coating the roof in record time and with no compromise of roofing integrity. 5.5 stars.<br /><br />2. I wanted components that were at the high end of what is available. They not only delivered what I wanted and did so at a price lower than any if the other 13 contractors I interviewed.<br /><br />3. Since opening and then closing the seal on the roof is a big issue I wanted to have extra risers installed so if we miss the 94% power mark on the system and so I can add a panel pr two later I wanted to have a couple of extra installed just in case. Highlight put them in and in sync with when the roofers had the roof open (during the water proof membrane installation.<br /><br />recommendation. If you live around the south SF bay and are going to install a PF electric solar system you owe yourself a call to Highlight Solar. <br /><br />Prompted items<br /><br />This was a residence install. Eichler home with a vaulted roof in Cupertino California<br /><br />Install was done in November of 2013. It was done in about 2 weeks.
