Horizon Solar Power (Out of Business)

We used them because they came around to my house and asked if we would like a meeting with a rep, the first time no one came, the second time someone came. I feel like its a ok system, it only installs 80% due to the rebates, so I am still going to get a fat bill at the end of the year, i do have the option to buy more panels but of course that would increase my monthly payments. I do save monthly but not as much as i had thought i would have. I was told by their sales rep that I would only get charged by edison in the first tier for the energy used over what I was making and thats in correct. Also they had us sign something the first night and I was under the wrong impression. I didnt know it was part of the contract and we then were shopping around and they sent a letter saying we were already in contract with them and to break it would be 9k etc. So we were stuck with them and I feel like we were rooked into staying with them. Either way we were going to get solar, not necessarily with this company though. The install took longer then planned but all in all it works and we are cooler in the summer.... read more
