was a nice clean installation. The same could not be said for the electrical contractor they used. (one star)
I am planning the installation of another inverter at a later time. I discussed my future plans with the contractor and we came to a solution which would create a minimum of modification of the installed system.
But instead of keeping the new inverter as close to the existing sub-panel, he did not mount it using the minimal distance (1" suggested by manufacturer), used existing conduit which I told them I had installed for a specific separate purpose, ran wires through the sub-panel which makes the wiring of the sub-panel much more difficult, and placed a large conduit on the surface of the wall instead of under the surface as I had requested.
As a result, when I add more equipment, I will have to totally move and rewire the equipment they installed.... read more
