Suncrest Solar (out of business)

I purchased 33 panels for my home in April of 2016. Residential solar is somewhat new to South Carolina so I found few who could advise me on the best company. I had a good experience overall and my panels have produced sufficient power. Part of my initial hesitation to committing to Suncrest was my fear of what would happen if we ever need to replace our roof. In order to persuade me to purchase, I was given an addendum to my contract by Suncrest that they would remove and reinstall my panels for $1,499.00. Having been given this in writing, I moved forward with the purchase.

After a major hail storm recently, we are needing to have our roof replaced, and of course the panels taken down. When I contacted Suncrest about how to move forward with this process without voiding the panel, inverter, or penetration warranties, I have been told BY MANAGEMENT that they have no one in the company who can advise me. I find that to be incredibly unprofessional. No one is willing to help me after repeated attempts, and even with paperwork to prove their responsibility in this matter they are unresponsive. I have contacted the BBB and worry about any future customer service issues I might come across.
