I have been a customer of New England Clean Energy since2015. My only regret is not signing on to solar sooner. I have not had a electric bill since late 2015, without any eggirt on my part. The technicians from New England clean energy are the most professional I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They work their butts off, always clean up at the end of the day, and customer service is always there to answer your calls. In 3 years I have had to change out a couple of optimizers they were Super quick in getting someone out to assist and everything has been covered under warranty. I wanted to wait a year before writing this review so that I could really attest to my solar system. Before going with New England Clean Energy, I researched every solar company in the area, and a few out of state, both leasing and purchasing options. I went with NECE due to their location, and I could not be happier with their service. Due to my personal finances at the time, it took me almost 8 months from my first phone call before I told them I wanted the service. During that time, they continued to answer my questions and provide me with any info I needed, without ever pressuring me to get started. Once they began the work, it was a flawless process. The NECE team took care of everything from permitting to installation, even putting additional needed support in my roof. Unlike some other solar systems, the NECE installation is super minimal, no conduit running down the side of my house, and the meter systems are in my basement, so there is nothing to take away from the curb appeal of our home. The installation team was so professional and knowledgeable, always taking care to explain the process, and clean up their mess along the way. The worst part about this whole process was waiting for National Grid and my town to ok the permits so we could 'flip the switch.' Now that the system is on, it has been running perfectly since day one. We have surpassed the projected solar amounts every month since last year! We now have a great cushion of credit so even in those winter months, we won't have a bill. I'm so happy we made the investment to purchase, rather than lease. In addition to being able to keep those monthly credits, we have netted almost $1500 in cash in SREC credits. I only wish we signed up sooner!... read more
