This is a follow up review. Initially I gave them three stars because the installation was done so well. I commented on their lack of follow-up on problems but I can elaborate now after seven frustrating months of trying to get them to maintain the non-producing system. So far we have had more down time than production time. I repeatedly email and call them to get something done and they are always "waiting for....". Lots of excuses, little performance. I have asked to speak to the owner, Leo Bautista, many times. Never had a return call. The salesman, Mitch, has also disappeared. The installers did a great job. We have a tile roof and they were very careful and replaced any tiles that were broken or destroyed during the install. The whole process was great. The city approved the install and we were promptly connected to the SCE grid in late March 2016. It all worked fine until a month or so later when the system stopped producing. That was in April. May and June. I finally noticed that my SCE bill was accumulating too much and I called. They went to the house and replaced some part. The system produced as expected in August and 1/2 of September. It seems to be down again now. We do not live in the desert in the summer so we have no way of knowing what is going on. Apparently Solar Edge has distributors who sign up installers. So far no one seems to want to be responsible for fixing things. I am still trying to find a solution and will update as I go along.... read more
