Solar was a long time coming to Killeen Texas so I started to do investigations with well known companies and received estimates that was unaffordable and some down right ridiculous with little or no explanation of what I would save in the future or what size unit I need for my current electric usage. I was about to give up on the solar idea but discovered Solar CenTex of Harker Height Texas. Mr. Arey evaluated my last year usage of electric, developed a written 5 page proposal of What type of solar panel system I needed, approximate cost of what I would pay for electricity with a panel system and when the solar system would pay for It self. Every thing he stated has come true! My electrical cost before solar panels averaged $245 per month NOW it range from a monthly credit of -$8.00 to +$45.00 per month. Now I'm complaining about my water bill, which averages $68.00 per month,which is higher that my Electric bill. Thanks Scott for putting money in a Retired Military man pocket with such a sound investment. I tell people all the time, "If your don't have the money, Borrow it from the bank." Electric is only going up, So my Advice for you is, If Scott says you need an 8 K unit, buy a 10K unit.. Its money in your pocket.... read more
