One word really describes Solar Centex - professional. I went back and counted 23 different e-mails concerning purchasing and installing the system. There were countless texts (I switched phones, so I could not get an exact count) as well and {Name Deleted} always replied within 24 hours (most of the time it was within 1 - 2 hours). They also have a great website where the owner actually publishes the amount of electricity his personal system is producing on a live stream. Their facebook page has a lot of information as well, and they are not afraid to post articles discussing some of the horror stories about installing solar systems. My wife and I were concerned, however, about installing panels when we might be moving within five to ten years. {Name Deleted} was very understanding and worked with us to find a system that worked for our concerns. I really do not think we would have gone ahead with the system if it had not been for all of the communications, support, and articles sent by {Name Deleted} to make sure we were considering all of the aspects about installing a system.
I haven't addressed the installation aspect of the process. The installers showed up at EXACTLY 8:00 a.m. They knocked on the door twice, never asked to use the bathroom, cleaned up everything after the installation, and fully explained how to monitor the system. They allowed my wife to video tape the explanation as I was at work and they were fine with that. She tried to tip the lead installer, but he would not take anything. His reply was, "No ma'am. I'm just doing my job."
Solar Centex has a lot of great reviews. I guess the only thing I hope to achieve by writing mine is that my wife and I were very anxious about whether or not to install a system because of the possibility of moving. Because of the professionalism of this company (sales and installation), we know we made the right decision. Even if you are just thinking about solar, I would give them a call. {Name Deleted} is a wealth of information and will answer all of your questions promptly and honestly.
