I've had 15 M190 microinverters fail in the last 5 years. The system was bought from Real Good Solar who changed there name to RGSEnergy and moved to NY from CA two years ago. Since RGS took over customer service has suffered terribly. It takes me a minimum of 5 emails and 1 1/2 months to get RGS to replace the bad M190.
They are in denial that there is a problem with the Enphase M190. Every time I report a failure they tell me this is highly unusual and offer to have a tech examine my solar array. But no examination will show a problem since a device gives no indication its going to fail.
Its a really bad situation and I'm thinking my only recourse is to go to court and get a judge to rule they need to replace my remaining M190s with M215s.... read more
