CM Solar Electric

Three weeks after contract signed, they determined that my electric panel was not adequate and I needed to spend another $2K on a 200 amp panel. I had another electric contractor check it out, and they determined that existing panel was adequate. It then took C M another three weeks to conclude that they were wrong. When they did the installation of panels, they broke more than 50 cement tiles on my roof, but they did replace them once confronted with the damage their installers did. The tile replacement took place after the city and SDGE had approved the solar installation; and their workman switched off the solar (on the roof) when they did their replacement work. They FORGOT to turn it back on and I went two more weeks without any solar power. Very bad workmanship enabled by bad management! Avoid them like the Plague ! !

Substandard
We are really sorry that you feel that we did you wrong, but I would ask that you post the facts and not lies on your review, we dont determine nor we have control over SDGE as to how long they take to give an answer on a panel upgrade to see if you can upgrade to a 200A(witch is what this customer wanted), and in regards to the tiles as any old roof tiles brake, we did the correct thing and repair the broken tiles an then sum, that you had to confront us that is a lie, we knew the tiles were broken and move to repair them.
Please state the truth, and not lies just because you dont know nor you understand how the process works, even do we told you that the answer to see if you could upgrade to a 200A with out trenching was going to take anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks(this is what SDGE takes to do a Spot Check), you still blame us for that delay, STATE THE FACTS AND THE TRUTH.
We would ask that this customer please retract from the lies that he is writing and just stick to the truth and the facts as how things happened.
I run a reputable company, and strive to take care of our customers as our reputation is our life in this industry.
