SolarCity installed panels on my roof on Jan 9, 2016; local town approved installation on Feb 3. I leased the system. As of April 18 SolarCity has not yet applied to Atlantic City Electric for start-up approval. I was told by them that they are "waiting for my account to be attached to a solar fund" and it could take an unknown amount of time. This "step" was never described to me; now I'm stuck, even after putting over $6000 down...very non-transparent deal/industry. Maybe the anti-solar people are right about the shady money deals involving solar.... read more
