Con Edison Solutions (formerly Ross Solar)

Its been a year since our system has been turned on. Other than our minimum charge by the power company - about $19.50 per month - we have paid ZERO for electricity supplied by the power company.

Our system was installed by Ross Solar through the Energize CT program which combined with federal tax credits made for a very affordable system. Our 5.5KW system ended up costing us $9500 out of pocket. In our first year, our system offset $500 in purchased power, with about 1500kw of surplus power which will be purchased by the power company at wholesale rates. This savings is equivalent to making 5% on our investment. The system will add at least $15,000 to the value of our house, which the town does not tax.

Ross Solar did a great job on the design and installation of our system. Two other vendors actually didn't want our project since they deemed it too small or not cost effective!!

Ross Solar was great to deal with and I highly recommend them.
