System works as promised
We had a ground based system installed a few months ago. Our electric bill is $9.62 - the basic charge from Black HIlls. I am pleased with the system overall. Both Matt and Rachel were great! The negative was the landscaping crew's work to repair our yard. I had to stop them 1/2 way through, redo all of the work and finish it myself. Steel City Solar did supply the rock and fabric but I was promised I would be 100% satisfied with the job.

After researching several companies to purchase a solar panel system, we were very impressed with the Steel City Solar team. From the salesman, installers, electrician and the owner Tyler, they were very courteous, punctual and professional in all their business with us. I would recommend this company to anyone for their solar panel systems.

Great company and great customer service!
If you are thinking or looking for a company for a solar project look no further, Steel City Solar is your company! I spent two weeks dealing with several solar companies (local, in and out of the state), Steel City Solar was the best in price and best in customer service. Jim B (owner), Dan B. (Sales Director), office staff and installation crew are running a very impressive operation. From the time that I called the office to setup an initial consultation, quote, installation and commissioning of the system, I only got great and timely customer service and now I’m smiling at my first electric bill………

Solid company good communication easy.
Steel City is the only local company and after extensive research every other company I spoke with were from Denver or Idaho or Utah. SunPower panels are what I went with and couldn’t be happier.

The REAL steel city solar review
Once I was able to get the real steel city team and not the imposters claiming to be steel city only to change your paper work to big dog or just simple not respond for weeks, My experience with Dan and Jim was amazing. Everything they said they would do and the communication from sales to installlation was perfect. Anyone getting solar I would highly recommended you to have steel city be the team. Financing was smooth. Installation awesome and the follow up after asking how I liked the overall experience amazing. I don't write reviews very often but this isn't one team you should not pass up.

Steel City Solar made my solar experience amazing!! From the beginning during the initial introduction to the company they made me feel like family. Brian and Neil came to my house and provided me with great information and answered all my questions to help me make a very informed decision. I had some credit opportunities and they stuck by me the entire time and helped me to rebuild my credit to qualify for solar. Once approved the process was seamless and quick. When it came to installation the guys were great. They worked long hours until my solar was complete. They cleaned up and made sure that everything looked great. Jim came out and did an inspection to ensure that the work was done correctly and showed me how to use the system. I never felt out of the loop or uninformed. I have and would recommend Steel City Solar to all my friends and family.
