I am very pleased with all the aspects of the process in working with SolTerra Solar for the solar panel system they installed for me. Their staff kept me informed and were responsive when I had any questions. I decided to go with SolTerra after receiving bids and information from a total of three installers. I’m already seeing a savings in my electric bill.

If I could give 100 stars I would! The team were so great at communicating with me and gave me such a great deal! I shopped around of course and found that not only was Solterra much more affordable, their level of service was above and beyond. They were quick to slot me in for installation. The installers were knowledgable and answered all the questions I had in regards to Solar. I had no issues with their installation as it passed inspection with flying colors. I have a buddy who went with a different solar company and their installation was sub par. Their inspection failed and now they're waiting for the solar company to come and fix their mistakes. He got his solar 2 months before mine and he's still waiting on them. Make sure you guys don't end up like my friend who's still waiting for his solar to be turned on! Go with Solterra Solar. The team will take such great care of you!

I would recommend SolTerra to anyone looking for solar! The panels they use are top notch (after much research). Out of all bids I had, they were the best to work with. Not the commercial sales tactics and hounding to sign paperwork like some companies I checked out. The whole process from start to finish was great. Kevin (Sales Manager) was super helpful and knowledgeable. It is a pretty hands off process once you sign the paperwork. We used Verity Credit Union for financing. Paige the project manager was awesome! Super responsive, helpful, and nice. Shout out to the installers Josh (Electrician) and roof crew Alex and Aji. They were great, fun to interact with and everything looks great!

Myself and the contractor, Todd Hara, are so pleased to have worked with Amy Carpenter, owner of Solterra Solar, and her crew. They are a first-class company; knowledgeable, on-time, professional and providing exceptional service. Problems were discussed and resolved. Installation was timely and aesthetically done well. The first month when solar was up and running, my bill was $11.50, the monthly meter charge. Amy personally sat with with the contractor, me and my family and walked through the app to monitor usage. I highly recommend SolTerra.

We really appreciate the job that SolTerra did from start to finish - which was about a year! We had basic questions at the beginning, and then we needed a new roof and house paint before the solar panels could be installed. The options offered and the estimate were clear and competitive. An upgraded electrical panel for our old house was part of the installation. Everyone on the project was helpful and knowledgeable, and just great to work with. Even during the winter in Seattle, we're generating quite a bit of electricity from the roof! Thanks, SolTerra!

We're glad we chose SolTerra and had a very good experience. The management team was professional and fair to work with during the negotiation phase; and worked closely with us on logistics for installing the panels which included a bucket lift to reach our roof. The installation team was amazing: competent and good humored, working in some of the worst weather we've had this fall. We're already seeing favorable data on the easy to use software that monitors the system and really look forward to what's in store once spring arrives. We flipped the switch this week on our new solar power system! SolTerra was excellent to work with, and we're very happy with our system. There were some glitches and time delays as we went along--no fault of theirs or ours, including my father dying--and they were helpful and communicative all the way. Solar power was completely new to us. From the time we asked for a quote until the project was done, we had a million questions, all answered patiently and in language we could understand. I think the responsiveness is especially admirable given that they work on whole buildings and construction projects, when we're just a little rambler in the suburbs. We don't expect to live in the area for many more years. We are not concerned with that because whatever we don't earn through energy savings, we will probably get back as equity when we sell. Feels great to run on green power!

I had an excellent experience with Solterra. Jessa, Neil,& Kathy were very patient with my endless questions, very thorough when i needed info& proactive with the paperwork. The installation crew was quick& professional I cant say enough good things about Tim & Mason for taking care of an emergent (& potentially catastrophic) issue uncovered in my house wiring unrelated to the solar project. They had everything taken care of very quickly I have repeatedly recommended Solterra & continue to do so

Working with SolTerra was a wonderful experience. I enjoyed working with Kevin Crowley who designed the system. He explained other options with higher output panels and future expansion. My questions and concerns were answered quickly and office personnel were a joy to speak with. The installation is very neat and clean and everything looks great. Very professional, well organized, and communication throughout the process was outstanding. Much care was given to aesthetics (conduit runs, panel placement, etc.) by planners and also installers. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had a very large job from changing our electrical mast to the amount of panels installed. Very professional all around and did very clean work. I would totally recommend this company.

SolTerra is nothing short of a fabulous company. Our experience from start to finish could not have been better. Their commitment to making the design personalized shows through the time they put into our systems design. They will also give you the most accurate estimation of how much energy you can generate with your roof..another bid I received was estimated at 15% higher energy generation for the same exact system. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company! Now our electric bill is almost nothing and we had the system paid for by the government.. it has been terrific for us.

I had a terrific experience with Solterra. They helped me understand the benefits of going solar and were very professional throughout the entire process. I love getting my monthly reports on how much energy was produced with our panels.

Horrible customer service. They looked at our roof and gave us a bid. We signed a contract with them and took out a loan to purchase the equipment. Two weeks before the installation they wanted to reduce the warranty from 10 years to 2 years. We received an email about this on a Friday at 9:45pm before Kevin, our salesman, went on a week vacation. Very disappointed in the level of service they provided. I would advise to look into other companies if you are deciding on solar.

Our 9.6 kWh system has been in for a couple months and we couldn't be happier. Every step of the way the Solterra team was professional and efficient. The roofing partner and crew was clean friendly, and detail-oriented despite a last minute decision on my part to double the size of the job. The solar crew was super fast and totally knowledgable and helpful. And the sales agent Kevin and admin folks were helpful and communicative all along the way. Kevin worked with me back and forth as I tweaked my pay-off projection spreadsheet to make it as exact and realistic as possible, factoring in our zero-down PSCCU energy loan, WA-made equipment, and I confidently maintain that the time is now to go solar in WA with Solterra. We are happily feeding the grid every day, producing more than 100% of our needs even with a fully rented cottage behind our house that's nearly doubled our energy usage. I will admit that my system was delayed due to a some staffing changes in the winter that put the whole company behind by several weeks. But I believe that has all been addressed with new qualified people and they are back on top of the scheduling and workflow. And I probably only missed out on a couple weeks of gray skies. Solterra was referred to us by close friends who are still very happy after their solar project 2 years ago. And I have already referred several close friends and family and will continue to recommend Solterra highly. If I had a second house, I'd be on their schedule tomorrow.

We had Solterra put in our solar panels about a month ago. We investigated a multitude of installers and talked to various friends who do installation in other towns. They all liked Solterra and recommended them. We particularly liked Amiee Carpenter who was our "go to person" for the installation. They recommended various manufactures and we choose one recommended by them and by other installers. They were efficient, friendly, informative, and did a great job. A few kinks as it was early summer and everyone and their brother want solar panels, but we were very please. As an aside, friends used a different well known company and had problems left and right. These guys were good and cleaned up after themselves - scores high on my list.

We picked Solterra out of several potential solar contractors, due largely to their salesperson, Aimee. She was pleasant, prompt, organized and a wealth of information about all aspects of solar. She gave us great information about all the options we asked about. She measured our solar exposure and calculated what we would likely be able to attain with a Solar system at our house, which was very helpful. At least three of our neighbors have gone (or are going) with Solterra as word of their quality is spreading in our neighborhood. Solterra got our rooftop system installed and hooked up in early June, 2013 and the system is working just as Aimee said it would. Every day I monitor it to see how much solar electricity we have generated and sold. Lots of fun!! My wife and kids think it's great to have solar panels and I'm enjoying showing them off to our friends and neighbors.

We are completely happy with the home photovoltaic system Solterra Systems installed for us here in West Seattle. We started the process with a casual inquiry. Solterra sent a friendly professional who, in addition to his solar experience, had years of experience in the roofing industry. This was important because we wanted our installation to work well with the new roof we needed to install. Imagine our pleasure to discover that we could do both the roofing job and the solar job in a single process, saving time, money and hassle! It was also very helpful for the consultant to work through the cost-payback spreadsheet with us. There was no pressure to conclude the sale; I took a couple of weeks to shop around and check the figures. Ultimately we went with Solterra because of the best combination of total product and price. The project was done on time and within budget. Solterra helped us work with the utility for all hookups and doing the paperwork to get various rebates. I'd gladly use them again, except that the system is designed to last longer than I will ;-)

We do highly recommend Solterra to anyone interested in solar power. We did have a few issues, but we are totally pleased with the end results and are looking forward to the sun staying out to see if we meet or exceed our expectations. Our sales rep.
