I decided to go with Solar Ray to install my solar panels due to the longevity in business thinking that this meant they offered great service. Well, I was wrong. I had an issue with one of the inverters not working. I have tried reaching them by email, phone, facebook, even text, and nothing for over 3 weeks. They have not responded other than in text telling me that they will review my issue and get back to me. Still nothing. 3 weeks of no production. I even called the manufacturer of the inverter myself and created a "ticket" which I forwarded to Solar Ray. Still no response. SMA checked my system remotely and mentioned that it wasn't the inverter as it checked out and that it had to do with the install. I had to hire someone to check my system and effectively something in the system burnt out. I would recommend not going with Solar Ray ever because while they are responsive when they sell the system, you get nothing for service when things go wrong even though they mentioned that this was where they excelled. Move on from Solar Ray

Today Mr. Brown and Mr. Alex visited our home to asses a water leak in one of the rail mounts. Mr. Brown and Mr. Alex performed a visual inspection in the attic and the roof. They assessed the leak area as well as the rest of the solar panels rails for signs of leakages none were found. They executed the proper repairs on the affected area. Assuring us that the leak problem was fixed. We can not ask for better service than the one performed by Mr. Michael and Mr. Alex. They sure do stand by their product and provided an excellent service. I highly recommend Mr. Brown, Solar Ray Inc., his General Manager Mr. Alex and employees to take care of your solar system future needs Thank you Mr. Brown, thank you Mr. Alex. Your expertise, knowledge and services are second to none.

We engaged Solar Ray in 2021 to install our panels in our new home. I have found the product to be excellent and the support- when you get the right people - to go beyond expectations. This week we had Solar Ray come out for a tune up and maintenance check. We had the panels professionally cleaned after 3 years and then noticed a spike in output being made. We have never paid more than the minimum to Duke, so the panels were sized correctly and accommodate the pool

They do not have any costumer support, terrible service, I strongly advise to not buy from this company. After 3 years of my system operating it stop working, I contact them they send a third party technician that charged $320 and did not fix the system. The worst problem was that they took 4 months (without my system working properly ) to answer my call. During this period I left more than 40 calls and several email, never answered. Finally after 4 months they came down to check my system and the conclusion was the fault was the electricity provider that was kicking off my system and they could not fix. I suspected because several house in my street have solar power and they were working fine. I called another company and 15 minutes of troubleshooting they discovered my system has a faulty circuity breaker, in 5 minutes it was fixed. That is the level of customer service. Be aware, they promise the world to sell, but them you are by yourself with a bad system and the never answer your calls.

Had multiple quotes from many companies but choosing Solar-Ray was a no-brainer. Not only are they Florida’s first certified contractor to qualify and receive the nationally recognized NABCEP Certification for PV, they also have been installing solar since 2003; that’s over 18 years of experience. On top of that, they are offering 5% cash back from total cost given to you after the installation is completed. Michael Brown (Owner) is always educating himself on solar and keeping up to date with new products as they release. One thing that sets them apart is the various tests they perform with what they currently install vs what’s new to the market. Time and time again, the Equipment he offers outperforms new equipment like micro inverters, etc. Solar Ray is also BBB accredited and has a ton of other achievements and awards. They also provide amazing warranties for any roof leaks (if caused by the install) and 25 year warranty on equipment. Dennis (Salesman) went out of his way to make sure I understood everything that was being done from start to finish. He even went above and beyond by answering all my questions (which I had plenty) and helped me choose the best option/equipment for my roof and usage. I highly recommend this company and Dennis adds great value to this company with exceptional customer service and knowledge. I will definitely be using this company again for future solar installs and will also be referring them to my friends and family who are thinking about going solar. You will not regret choosing Solar Ray, so what are you waiting for?

I am so grateful to have found Solar-Ray to take care of my solar needs. I was already dealing with Tesla solar when I looked at there reviews. I completely did a 360. I thought to myself, I will be dealing with this company for the next 20 to 30 years. So I did research and looked at reviews and found this Gem. They really do care about there customers, from the salesperson (Dennis) to the installers, to the owner. Oh and lets not forget the ladies in the office. Everyone is pleasant to work with and my installation went through without a hitch. My panels were up in 2 weeks. Then we just had to wait for the inspections. Solar -Ray has no control over that. What they do have control of is the quality of their work, and because it was perfect, the inspections went through with flying colors. Thank you Solar-Ray and staff for making a stressful situation stress free.

For the last 5 years I was in the market looking for an honest solar panel installation company and until then I was not going to pull the trigger. After searching many companies, Solar-Ray was the one with the most accurate and honest answers to all my questions and concerns. The sales representative Dennis Aguado has a great level of knowledge and because of his direct answers and great honesty I decided to go with Solar-Ray.

Amazing experience start to finish. Everything went almost as scheduled and Solar Ray made changes to accommodate the install when we ran into issues. Every problem we ran into was a minor issue. Without asking for a solution they were on top of it and always went above and beyond to resolve the hiccups. I can't say enough good about this company and the employees that work for Solar Ray. I shopped 4 different companies. Solar Ray was right in the middle price wise, but was the only company that came out to survey my home. Solar Ray identified issues with trees in my neighbors yard that the other companies did not. All companies wanted to do it over the phone and not take the extra time to do a thorough job with a site visit. If I had to do it over again no question I would not hesitate to contract with Solar Ray. Alex the sales rep was the best!!!

I’ve been thinking about solar for my home for many years. I chose Solar Ray because they had many years of experience, the products/brands they use are rated very highly by 3rd party reviews and their reputation for excellent customer service. This was not in my view a one-time transaction but I was investing in a product and I understood this to be a long term relationship with the the installer. Solar Ray’s price point was very competitive, the installation occurred on the time table as promised and their sales/customer representative Mustafa was outstanding. After I made my initial deposit, I later received a discount because the salesperson wasn’t aware of an ongoing special that the company was running when I made my first payment. knew right then, I had made the right choice with Solar Ray.

The SolarRay team was very professional. Our sales person and primary contact Alex did a great job answering questions and keeping us informed throughout the process. The system design is reliable and designed to meet our power needs. I had some estimates from other installers that were under sized and way more complex than required. SolarRay installs a great product with excellent workmanship. I highly recommend this team for your solar PV needs.

Overall a great experience from start to finish. The representative was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects, from the energy production, how the equipment works, and the installation of the equipment as well had the most competitive pricing and incentives available. Hit all points and questions I had. Throughout the year I was shopping around for the solar panel system that would make the most sense to me and Solar Ray made the most sense. Furthermore, Solar Ray made installation smooth and in a timely manner and stayed in constant communication throughout the process. The installers were very nice and answered all the questions I had during the installation. Overall I’m very happy with the experience I had with Solar Ray and am recommending it to everyone I know, especially the Solar Ray Representative I was working with.

Every step they were responsive and took care of any concerns/questions right away. With so many solar companies to choose they have been around before the big “wave”, have already learned lessons and I feel confident will be here for me a long time. Great warranty, no subs to deal with - one stop shop. I researched companies and they always came out on top. A+ rating with BBB too with no complaints filed is a big plus - shows they address customer concerns right away and respect towards the customer. Big plus!

Solar ray has lived up to the reviews on this site. Super good communication, fair prices, and relatively quick installation. They took the time to walk me through any aspect of the system I asked. This is still a new system but so far so good.

I recently installed a solar system and chose Solar-Ray. They were the 3rd company I looked at and was hands-down 20-25% cheaper than the 1st two estimates and I looked no further. My solar rep/salesman, Vladimir Polozov, was very professional and knowledgeable. As tt turned out, he was a former tech/installer for Solar Ray which helped explain his ability to answer some in-depth installation and technical questions. Their fee schedule is simple and straight-forward, which made it easy to play with the numbers before settling in on a size, a 7.2KW system installed late last year. Since then, it has resulted in power bill free months ever since.

Early in the second quarter of 2020, Solar-Rays installed an 11.4 kw system in our home in East Orlando. Before we went with Solar-Rays, we looked at a couple of other companies: one sales rep was 45 minutes late for the appointment, then took 30 minutes to figure out a quote and gave a monthly payment higher than the electric bill we pay now: he was asked to leave. Other companies were interested in selling non-solar equipment to raise the bill. We dealt with Mustafa from Solar-Rays who was on time and gave a quote within minutes of being here. He was very knowledgeable about the materials and process and had a no pressure approach. For us, reducing and stabilizing our electric bill was a priority. We reduced our Duke Energy Bill from $300 plus down to between $25 to $50 a month: Florida’s summer rains are cutting down on production so we are looking forward to the drier months and a near $0 dollar Duke bill. We have recommended them to many people and a couple have contracted them as well.

I recently installed a Solar System utilizing Solar-Ray as my state Certified contractor after researching several other companies. Solar-Ray is an excellent choice for any homeowner interested or seeking to install a solar system to reduce electricity cost. Their sales representative, Vladimir Polozov, is professional, knowledgeable and will be able to educate you on its rational as well as recommend an efficient system to satisfy your needs without pressure selling. Solar-Ray’s office staff and installation crew Car and Mike were not only friendly and professional, but well organized. The other companies that I met with were more interested in the sale rather than satisfying my needs. The Solar-Ray team members guided me through every step of the solar implementation process explaining each part. I would recommend Solar-Ray to any homeowner pursuing a Solar System. We reduced our Duke Energy Bill from $350 plus down to between $55 to $60 a month.

Well I was highly recommended by a friend at work who researched and called different solar companies . He choose Solar Ray based on there track record as well as the price range . I then myself called different companies and received quotes and Solar Ray absolutely stood above the rest . They use the best inverter in the business (SMA) there panels are also American made in California . Then there is Dennis who basically walked me all the way through the process and explain everything in detail . He sized the system and even offered me additional information to maximize my solar system . He made the process so easy and was just a wonderful person . Dennis definitely gave me the extra confidence to choose Solar Ray . Everyone was wonderful from Carl to Dennis to Sandra . Most importantly the men who installed the system. My hats off to you boys especially . Got it done in one day with rain interrupting .If the owner is reading this your installers are awesome group of guys lead by a go getter .

We have been very happy with Solar-Ray and with our panel—everything was easy and from start to finish they made sure we understood the financing, the install process, and what to expect for the future regarding panel care, output, etc. We worked with Mustafa and he was great! We did have to wait about 6 weeks for an install date, mainly because Solar-Ray is in high demand (because they are great!). The good news is you aren't charged a thing until a month after the panels are installed. After install there are a few hoops you have to jump through with the electric company (outside of Solar-Ray's control) before you can get the panels officially up and running but Solar-Ray does a good job of guiding you and helping move the process along for you as quickly as possible. Once the panels are installed, there really isn't much you need to do at all to keep them running except clean the panels once a year. We highly recommend getting solar panels and even more highly recommend working with Mustafa at Solar-Ray. Once we realized how easy everything would be and what a "no brainer" the decision was, we wished we had made the decision to get panels installed years ago!!

I rate my experience with Solar-Ray as 5 stars. Let me first say that I rarely rate any company this high. My feeling is that if a company does a good job, then that should be considered “average”, or 3 stars. Solar-Ray far exceeded my high expectations in every regard, so they receive my rarely-given 5 star rating. It all started with my initial consultation with Mustafa. I had previously met with several other companies who seemed to be trying to sell me something I didn’t need or want, or appeared to be deceitful about their pricing and warranty. I had done considerable research prior to meeting with any solar companies. Mustafa arrived with a proposed design that exactly matched what I had calculated that I wanted. Mustafa was very knowledgeable, gave a very professional and informed presentation, and very patiently answered all of my questions. The price was also much lower than any other quote that I received, and the warranty was superior as well. On the day of installation, I was equally impressed by the professionalism of the installation team. They arrived on time, worked together as a team, eagerly answered all my questions, never shouted or used profanity, and left my home and yard as clean as it was before they arrived. The appearance of my system looks more attractive than other systems that I see around town. I have had numerous days with heavy rain, and I haven’t found one drop of water leakage. From the day I signed the contract, it took only a total of 17 working days for my system to be installed, the utility company to replace my power meter, and my system to be commissioned and turned on. Although it’s too soon to properly assess the performance of my system, in the 22 days that I have been operational, I have exceeded the advertised level of production on average. Overall, I would highly recommend Solar-Ray.

They have been in business for a whole and actually from florida, measured my roof instead of using google maps. Explained the entire process. Sales team was great, very knowledgeable.

I must say, these guys are the real deal. I am very knowledgeable in the renewable energy field, currently back in school changing my major from mechanical engineering to construction management at Seminole state where I was the president of the green building club. For the las five years I have gone from one company to the next looking for expertise and honest answers, and every time I thought I found a company that was worth listening to, I found myself at the same place, disappointed and honestly, angry at times. Angry because I felt they thought I was stupid or because their lack of expertise and lack of knowledge of their own product simply aggravated me. Well, finally around three months ago I decided to call Solar Ray, to see what they had to offer, and I am so happy I did. Denis, came to my home to assess my home and to show me what they were able to offer. The degree of expertise and professionalism this gentleman displayed got me sold immediately, he was able to answer every question I had, and to be honest, he went above and beyond to explain things about my home and the system I needed to properly power my home efficiently. During those five years I received proposals for similar systems with price tags as high as 54,000 dollars and with only a 25-year warranty. Solar Ray installed a system on my roof that produces 10.4 kilowatts hour with a 30-year warranty for under 30,000 dollars. My power bill was around 190.00 dollars per month, sometimes as high as 240.00, my new solar payment is 119.00 dollars and my Duke connection fee is only around 15 bucks. Am I happy??? Heck yes. So, people please beware of all the companies going around promising all kinds of things and trying to tell you their panels are better than everyone else’s. They are all made in china, even if they say LG. This company uses the industry standard, nothing fancy but what works and what can be easily repaired or replaced if damaged. All professionally installed and beautifully fitted onto your home. My home is currently producing around 45-kilowatt Hour per day which exceeds our usage by around 6 to 10 percent. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a honest local company to install an efficient solar system in their home or business at the best price. You need expert advice? As for Denis, he will answer all your question and will not disappoint you.

We interviewed 8 solar installers before we went with Solar-Ray, Inc. Our representative was Mustafa and he was and still is awesome. He was very informative and helpful even to this day! The installers were very professional and cleaned up afterwards. We've had our system installed 11 months ago and it is working perfectly. Our electric bill has been under $12 per month since going solar. We have recommended them to a friend who also had them install their panels and they reccomended them to one of their friends. To us that speaks volumes about Solar-Ray, Inc. Give them a call! You won't be disappointed!

Mustafa Subasi was very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all our questions and concerns. When putting up the panels the were on time and finished very quickly. I love our solar panels best investment we’ve done and the best company to do it with.

We were referred to this company when we were starting to look at adding solar to our home to help offset grid power prices. The rep, Mustafa called us within a day of requesting info. Mustafa is a wealth of info for this company! He had the answers for our questions and the questions that he wasn’t able to answer, he got back to us within a day. The price for our system was not the cheapest in the industry but you do get what you pay for plus the warranty of the system is very comforting to to have as well. From the moment we were talking with Mustafa all the way to when Duke energy came to swap out the meter as the last step, Solar-ray and all of its employees were right there for/with us! They took care of just about everything. And from the moment we were looking at doing this to the end result of a meter swap, it was very quick compared to other companies that I’ve heard about. If you are reading these reviews first before choosing a good company to do your solar (which I hope you are) you should really give Mustafa at Solar-ray a call and request for him or one of his colleagues to come out and talk to you about adding solar to your home. You will not be disappointed.

I choose Solar Ray as sales rep Mustafa was straight forward letting me know my options and how everything is going to be installed. I got a 10.2kw system installed and Solar Ray ensure I understood everything during the process and installation. The price I received was thousands cheaper but the product I received was most efficient than what other big companies offered. If I had to install another system, I will definitely reach back out to them or recommend them to anyone who is looking into a new solar setup.

Best decision we've made with our new home. We researched the top PV installers in Central Florida and narrowed it down to three. We went to the 2019 Fall H&G show in Orlando and Solar Ray was there. After talking to Vladimir, we knew they were a great choice. 6 months after install and we're still loving our Solar Ray PV system! No electric bill each month and generating extra. Install was half a day and very professional. Vladimir is a great representative of the company and the main reason we chose Solar Ray. Former installer and really knows his equipment. Still checks in to make sure we are happy, and we are! Received the government refund through our taxes already and was easy to do.

If you learned anything from your research on which solar company to go with, then you probably learned that there are so many sketchy companies out there that will tell you all the wrong information to sell you the biggest system that they can. Then if you're lucky (and good at) while doing your research, you come across Solar Ray and your research comes to a pleasant end. From the sales rep, Mustafa, to all the technicians who setup the beautiful 11.47 kw system at my house, everyone was extremely professional and easy to work with. Mustafa will not give you b.s. answers to your questions, just the facts. He will go the extra mile to study your house and electric bill to recommend the size of system that would fit your needs instead of trying to sell you the largest system he can. The technicians you will meet are extremely knowledgeable and. And of course, most importantly, I honestly don't think that you'll find better prices than Solar Ray has to offer. Not only did my electric bill drop insanely (most months free), I also increased the value of my own by getting solar panels that basically pay for themselves. Thank you Mustafa and Solar Ray for the great job you've done for me.

My experience with Solar-Ray has been excellent. No problem recommending them to anyone. First started with sales, it was an easy process, no pressure, no sales gimmicks. Plain and simple. I recently needed a service and they showed up within 2 days. Nothing was wrong with the system I just couldn't figure out how to setup the wifi. They came out and believe it or not it was free. After meeting with owners and representatives of Solar Ray, I signed a installation contract for $150,000. + in December of 2017. After many months of very slow service and equipment failures my attorney finally gave them a dead line to finish the installation. After the time was extended and was ignored by Solar Ray. Before I decided to have a Qualified company finish the install in September 2019, I hired a solar engineer and an electrical engineer to analyze the work that had been done by Solar Ray. What they found were , many major installation problems in which the system could not do what they contracted to me to do. It is costing me appx. another $110,000. to finish the system so that it works the way Solar Ray contracted with me to do. Solar Ray claimed with a meeting with their attorney and mine was that I told them basically how much power I needed and I was shopping prices because I was on a limited budget. Both are absolutely untrue. What I was told to give them in the beginning, were 12 months of power bills and to mark all electrical breaker panels and what equipment they fed . They then again came out to the property and examined that information for themselves. I am not a trained electrician. I can do basic electrical work , but have no formal training. Buyer Beware!!

Glad I choose Solar-Ray to install my solar system!! The entire process, starting with the salesman/field rep (Mustafa Subasi) and ending with the company's inspector (Carl Weirich) was outstanding. My wife did all the Solar Company reviews in the area and Solar Ray was the best. We ended up going with them and couldnt be happier. Everything they told us came true. From Alex in Sales, the Installers were prompt and courteous and left the job site as good as they found it. Carl the end electrician was great. Very patient while we set everything up and answered alot of my questions after the fact. Down the road I plan to add more panels and Solar Ray will be getting the call again.
