Region Solar
In early September 2023 we began getting quotes for whole house solar with battery backup. Quotes were received from 4 companies and we chose to go with Region Solar. The quotes from the other 3 companies did not meet our requirements and were priced considerably higher. Jeff and Ray from Region Solar listened to our requirements and developed a proposal that met our needs; answering all the questions we had and doing all the paperwork required by our HOA, power company, and county. The installation was scheduled to take 4 days and was completed in 3. The team that came out was highly professional and the install was meticulous. Frank, the lead electrician, spent time explaining the install and was very personable. He also explained how to use the application for controlling the system. After the install was completed, Ray and Jeff came out to give us our book on the system and answer any additional questions we had. They went into more detail on the use of the application. They have also been extremely responsive to text messages containing additional questions. If considering whole house solar, we highly recommend Region Solar.

A top notch solar installer.
I don't like to micromanage people. I like to hire qualified professionals who care about the job as much or more than I do, and let them do their job. But frankly, contractors don't always live up to my expectations. Region Solar did. They were vetted and chosen by Solar United Neighbors, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. The sales guy, Ray, worked with us to spec out our system, explaining the pros and cons of different options without pressuring us or upselling. Ray was relaxed and helpful, acting more like a partner. Buca and his crew were all conscientious, careful professionals. They took extra time to position elements and manage wires in the most unobtrusive way possible, so the system is as invisible as possible. The results speak for themselves. The system works like a champ and is slick as anything. Highly recommended.

I am in the market to have a solar panel system installed in my home and came across Region Solar and was put in touch with Ray who was nothing short of impressive. He took the time to assess my home's unique energy needs and provided me with detailed personalized recommendations that were easy for me to understand. He did an excellent job explaining the long-term benefits of solar power and its potential positive impact on my house's energy bills. I have consulted with a few other solar panel companies so far and after meeting with Ray, I would say that Region Solar is definitely my top pick out of all of them.

Solar Installation
I chose Region Solar, because I like the fact they have been in town for over a decade - they don't sub contract out the installation - so i know the folks I talked to are the ones that back up their work. System has performed just as they said it would. On time and quick installation (some little permit delay); They followed through with the power company and the city inspectors. No roof leaks - it was a concern until they showed me how its possible to install roof feet without it leaking if done correctly. They were not the cheapest - but peace of mind is worth more than a couple $. I added an electric car recently, so they came back and increased the system size. All good!! I recommend them regularly, as I have so many friends buying solar now. I would at least meet with them and see what they have to say.

Good value. Great system. Even better people.
Was piqued by the prospect of no electric bill essentially for decades but was convinced by the excellent people at Region Solar especially Jeff who took care of every step of the process. Basically everything works perfectly that 7 months later I don't notice any difference except, of course, I don't have an electric bill anymore!

My A/C is at 70!
Region solar installed a 13,650 Watt solar PV system on my roof. Haven't had an electric bill in 4 months!!! System is also producing 10-15% more power than expected.
