Initially we chose another company. After some investigation indicated serious problems with that company, litigation was needed to be released from that contract. Lightwave Solar was highly recommended, and we found that they merit their reputation. Our installation has performed very well. With the tax credit we have planned for an additional battery to be installed.

Operations Coordinator and technical consultant was very responsive. Some minor problems with installation. We are very remote and being 3 hrs out LightWave corrected the problem immediately. System has been up and running for approx 4 months. I also contacted their Marketing Manager Grace with insight to their portal for monitoring my system online and she was very helpful. We interviewed a number of installers and Light wave Solar was the most professional. The owner came out and did a drone overview of my home and selected the best location. The team was very professional and overcame every hurdle as it came along. We installed 10.2 KW and 2 Tesla power walls. Great system, our first neighborhood power outage, the system kicked in with out a flicker, every one in the neighborhood was out of power but us!. The Storm watch feature is great, once there is a Storm watch the batteries fill up from the grid and hold it in case it is needed. Really enjoy the Tesla App.

Having had a terrible experience with my initial "certified" installer who failed to complete the installation per contract and made several errors followed by a second installer who kept changing the start date for almost a year, I was fortunate to learn about LightWave from a friend who had used them several years ago. Other references were good. LightWave identified the errors by the prior installer, designed the resolutions, and completed the proper installation within their estimate despite a few surprises along the way and ON TIME. All individuals we dealt with from office staff to installation and commissioning were professional in every regard. I could not be happier with the result. Even the state electrical inspector and local power company representatives who were on site for commissioning volunteered very positive comments regarding the installation and readiness of all aspects of the system. An exceptional company in my experience that I highly recommend!

I have used Lightwave Solar for two projects at my home. In 2012 they installed a 4.3 KW solar system and in 2019 they installed a 5.9 KW storage system. Since commissioning in April I have had a total of $59 in electric charges. As I recall all of the things regarding the last installation the one thing I remember most vividly was at the end an NES Supervisor coming over to me and remarking "congratulations". I think this speaks for itself why Lightwave Solar should be the solar company of choice for your solar application and installation.

The Lightwave Solar team was amazing, fast, and reliable. First, they used an electronic devise (fish eye) to assess the best position for the solar panels on our roof that is partially shaded by large trees. This devise can calculate the amount of sunlight on a particular spot over the different seasons of the year. The panel connectivity, function of optimizers and inverter module were explained in detail. After the contract was signed, a crew came a week later to install the system and integrate our 5 older solar panels. Remarkably, one of the workers found a squirrel nest under one of them and because the mother ran off into our woods, took the three tiny babies home and nourished them until they could survive on their own. The Lightwave Solar office helped to speed up the testing and contract signature by NES as well as the System acceptance by TVA (which usually takes quite a while). This team interacted extremely efficiently and professionally with me as customer. new

The Light Wave team came to our farm, did an assessment of our building, made the estimate and explained in detail the incremental steps of the process with the local power company. I was told that TVA would be communicating with me directly and all I needed to do was to forward all of those communications to Light Wave and they would take care of everything. I was pleasantly surprised when that was exactly what happened. The Light Wave install team showed up one day to do the installation and were finished the next day. About a week later the Light Wave team came back with the power company representative and commissioned the new system. Light Wave Solar did everything they said they would be doing and all I had to do was write a check. No more electric bill! It has been a pleasure to work with them.

The company did a great job in installation and explaining how the system works. In 3 weeks I was able to get credit for over 55 dollars on the bill in November 2018. I have been able to keep up with my daily KWH. I encourage every one to look into using solar power toto help reduce the effects of CO2 emissions.

Great solar system. I wanted to wait a few months to make this review. I am enjoying the savings. After two months, I don't have an electric bill, even with the hot, hot days of summer. I actually look forward to seeing the electric bill arrive in the mail with a negative balance. Great job.

We've had our solar installed in Oct, 2013 by Lightwave Solar, and their knowledge and professionalism was beyond compare. We first called a local solar company in Bowling Green, and they wouldn't come out to measure. Their reason was that they didn't have any openings for a TVA spot, their loss!!! Lightwave came out the next day and checked exposure, and measured, then sent a quote 2 days later. We've now had our solar for almost 5 years now and we love it, just wish we would have put up more panels!!! Our last electric bill (May,2018 which was the 2nd. Hottest on record in Bowling Green) was $ 10.33. Can't say enough about Lightwave Solar Dirk and Lorie Hallowell Bowling Green,Kentucky.

I first became aware of the residential solar system at a friend's house. He is a trusted, no bs friend who shared everything with me, including the USDA grant process. After a great deal of thought, it occurred to me that this is about the closest to a sure thing on the investment market. Your costs are guaranteed by the Federal Government, or local utility district in writing. Essentially, TVA guarantees to buy every watt of power I generate for $0.02 more than it cost to buy it from them. You get approximately 30% tax credit (depending on the deal Congress funds at the time. It is quite a rush to get an electric bill that is positive in my favor. This is a very good answer for short term power needs. If we get enough solar power into the system, maybe we can postpone indefinitely, the building of a nuclear reactor. It is a safe, Profitable investment, that is good for the economy and the environment. The folks at Light wave will hold your hand all the way through the process, and will even fill out some of the paperwork for you. I found everyone working for the company to be highly motivated. If you have a 401k, you should consider adding a solar array to your portfolio. it truly is a great investment.

Lightwave Solar did it all for me. Matt Duncan came out and measured the amount of electricity I should be able to produce based on the roof and the trees which would impact the solar electric production. They walked me through the TVA and power company paperwork, doing over 95% for me. The installation crew was very professional. They were very respectful of our property and our privacy. Each installer wore safety harnesses while on the roof and took precautions when moving about and climbing up and down the ladder. One afternoon they had to stop because the wind made it unsafe to handle panels. All in all, the installation took about 5 days. The comissioning took about two hours. We immediately started producing over 10 MW of power. Our commissioning was Nov. 28, 2017, and ut to Jan 19, 2018, we had produced over 1.64 MWh of electricity. I consider that very good for this time of year with all the rain and snow and cloudy days. My wife and I are very pleased.

We are very pleased with out solar installation. We really like getting the checks from KUB when we produce more than we use. We also charge two electric cars and could not be more pleased with the system. The service was excellent.

After waiting 3 months for the solar panels to be installed, we were told it would take no more than 10 business days to turn the panels on. It has been 12 business days and we don't even have the appointment with the inspector scheduled and after that there is another appointment that needs to be made with the power company before the panels can be turned on. Our first payment was made in early June. It's September and we have paid $30000 and have no idea when we will have solar power.

We increased our system by more than 100% this year. Very pleased with installation and performance so far.

I recently purchased an off grid system from Lightwave Solar Electric and couldn't be happier .From the beginning design with Evan Fitzgerald and J.P to the installation with Miles the entire team exceeded my expectations .The system they designed and installed fit my needs exactly . I have looked at a few other companies for this project in the past and never felt like they listened to what I wanted to accomplish in my off grid system as opposed to what they wanted to sell me .

My system was installed by LightWave in December 2014. Production has exceeded estimates, and after also installing LED throughout the home my electric bill has dropped from $180/mo to about $39/mo. I also had a nice tax credit that year. I do work for LightWave and can also say that, from the inside, I have never worked with a team of people more dedicated to customer satisfaction and excellence than this one.

The Lightwave experience was complete, courteous, no surprises. Everyone involved from start to finish were very pleasant and easy to deal with. I have told everyone who has asked about our system talk to Lightwave they are very knowledgeable, and very easy to work with.

I met the folks at Lightwave while doing a solar project for our company, NovaCopy, in Memphis, TN. I was very impressed with their professionalism, industry knowledge, and knowledge of programs available in our area. At the eleventh hour Lightwave was able to get me approved under an expiring TVA program and get my system fully functional and commissioned by the deadline date. Everyone that came to my home to work was courtesy and never made us feel uncomfortable. We have pets in our backyard. The Lightwave team made friends with our dogs and always made sure gates were closed. This may not seem like a big deal but it meant a lot to us. I would highly recommend Lightwave Solar if your are considering a solar electrical system.

My 12.5kw system went on the grid 8/10/2015 and so far it has produced over 30 % more kw than was projected. The installation was excellent.

My wife and I attended a program on solar energy production by Lightwave Solar either very late in 2012 or early 2013. During the program, they said TVA would pay a premium on the electricity produced for several years. (Unfortunately, that TVA program has all but run out.) We contracted for a 10KW system with Lightwave. They took care of all permitting, negotiations with the local electric company, TVA, you name it. They delivered and installed a turnkey system where I wanted it. They did everything within the contracted time period, but it did take them a long time to get started on the actual installation. Since I turned the system on, I have not had any problems with it. It just runs. Since then, I have not had to pay an electric bill on my house and got back over $800 from the local electric company last January.

The whole process from first visit to day of commission was performed in a very professional manner by all involved.

I'm delighted with my solar panels. In 2014 my total electric bill for 3000 sf all-electric home was just over $200 and would have been even lower except that I'm signed up for TVA's Green Power Switch so I'm off of coal or close to that. And it's the best quality work I've ever had done at my home - like I was family. Thanks Lightwave!

For years I had debated going solar. This year I finally took the plunge. I had a 5kw system installed at my house in Corryton Tn. Everything went smooth from the salesman coming out till the final moment when we went online. My first full month with the solar my electric bill was $14.00. I have a 1683sq foot house. LightWave Solar completed our project this past December of 2014. They have a very professional team that started with sales and ended with the installers. All of the costs and savings were completely outlined and simply presented in a way that a person as myself that was unfamiliar with solar could understand. They provided the grant proposal for me and worked closely with my utility company. It was a very smooth project and well coordinated with all the parties involved. I am very pleased with our solar project and it appears to be a great investment for our farm.

Our ground-mounted home solar system was installed in December 2012 and in the year and a half since has consistently produced even more power that was initially estimated. Everyone at the company that we had contact with was professional and helpful from start to finish. Over the first year of operation our system produced more electricity than we used, and only since adding a plug-in hybrid car have we had to purchase some of our electricity from TVA. We're very seriously considering an expansion and would definitely use Light Wave Solar.

Lightwave Solar did everything they said they would when then said they would do it and at the price we agreed on. Who could ask for more? I just received my first electricity bill since the expansion of my solar system. I got a good generation credit that covered all the energy I used during the billing cycle and gave me a credit to apply to the next cycle. I love these zero-balance bills!

All of the lightwave employees were great to work with. They explained everything well and did excellent installation work.

What can I say? The installation was done very quickly...3 days start to stop. Everyone on the crew was knowledgeable and friendly. Both the state inspector and the inspector from Cumberland Electric were effusive in there praise for how neat and well constructed the installation was. From day one we have been generating power. At this point, we are actually making money rather than simply saving money. In other words, the meter is not just running slower because of our system, it is running in reverse. This exceeds expectations. Overall the company was on budget, on time and exceeded expectations.
