HORRIBLE and now going out of business!!!

Almost two year battle to get what we were sold led to a complaint with CSLB, letters from our attorney and now them going out of business. System never got hooked up and running. Anyone out there reading this hurry up and get your CSLB complaint in to add to the case so if the judge grants judgement in customers favor the judgement will carry over to any new licenses that may be linked to the company.

Horrible Experience

I am writing this review to warn other customers about the HORRIBLE experience I had with Infinity. I started my solar project in January 2023, and received my final notification letting me know we are operational on September 22,2023, NINE MONTHS! I cannot even begin to express my frustration with Infinity. To sum it up for you; missed appointments times, lack of communication, three different project managers, holes in my ceiling, the need for two subcontractors, improperly done plans, permitting issues, forgotten necessary parts for the days work, left materials in the back yard for the dog to get to, and SIX installation appointments (told it would be one maybe two) not including the inspection and subcontractors’ appointments. I am dumbfounded at the lack of integrity and communication of this company. To put it into perspective I have recorded most of my emails, texts, phone calls, and in person interactions with my sales rep, the five installers, three project managers, scheduling, and dispatch to show potential customers what they can look forward to if working with Infinity. I also asked for compensation due to their poor planning and negligence. I have not seen anything as a result; showing me they are not interested in making this HORRBILE ordeal better for the customer. They are full of apologies but continue to not fix the situation and apologize time and time again. AGAIN, I warn you that this is not a reputable company. I hope I save at least one other family from experiencing the horrible customer service we experienced. I hope they fix their issues, but until they do they need to be sent the message and the best way to do that is by not giving them more business.

Poorly installed never heard from them again.

One of the installers fell on my tile roof damaging it. Infinity did take the time to repair it as best I can tell no leaks since. Since the installation, my utility bills still go up every year and my solar production in 4 years is 47 megawatts my total power use has been 1.3 megawatts and I get nothing but the runaround from Infinity and SCE has no one that can be spoken to to attempt to work things out. Thanks for the over sell and LIES.

Totally Incompetent

I can’t even begin to describe what a disaster this company and their people are. It’s been a year since our solar installation and we are still not generating power. We are paying for a system that doesn’t work even remotely close to what was promised. They keep making mistake after mistake and we haven’t even been cleared to operate. Our utility bill has not changed a bit, and it’s a comedy of errors and sloppy work by this company. Not only that, but they are pissing off LADWP with all of their errors. I honestly don’t know how this company is even in business. Totally incompetent and negligent, I can’t even get them to respond to emails or phone calls, they just don’t care at all. Beware of this company. RUN AWAY

Horrible Experience

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this solar company. They took my money and promised to have my solar turned on within a few months. However, it took them over a year to get everything set up. To make matters worse, they hired criminals to sell the solar and even had a referral fee to someone with a history of domestic violence and other criminal acts. The installation left my house damaged and when it was finally time to turn on my solar, they held me hostage for the final payment before they would do it. I would strongly advise against hiring this company. They are unprofessional, unethical, and downright dangerous. Stay Away!

You will Regret Dealing with Infinity Energy

Review of Infinity Energy You will regret spending even a minute of your time considering this company for your solar needs. They will promise you whatever you want at a good price. Once you have signed the contract, they will commit delivery and then not show up. They will make promises and then not deliver with no updates. You will always be in the dark. When you need help, you will not be permitted to speak with knowledgeable people. Infinity Energy is incapable of planning/managing. -Overall Project Execution was non-existent. We signed a contract in July 2021: Solar battery at a good price with installation in 6 weeks or less. 18 months later there was still no performance on the contract. -Late in 2021 an installation was scheduled. The installers showed up, but did not have half the equipment they needed. The 3 installers spent the day on the phone. They were unable to commit a new delivery date. How can a company survive wasting resources like this? -A second installation was scheduled in February 2022. No one showed up. The next day we were informed that a necessary trenching team was unavailable. No revised installation schedule was offered. What kind of planning is that? -A third installation was scheduled in April 2022. This was canceled without notice. Infinity Energy is not interested in the customer. -After agreeing on a location for the battery, the first installers arrived with a plan for the battery in a new location without any prior notice to us totally disregarding the need for customer input. In addition they proposed only one battery without considering that our electrical needs required two batteries. -During the 18-month duration of the project, often weeks would pass without any updates. Being in the dark is frustrating for a customer but that was not important to Infinity Energy -Whenever scheduling or design issues were discussed the customer is not permitted to speak directly to the decision maker. You cannot depend on Infinity Energy statements nor commitments. -Original Installation was promised for 6 weeks; no installation after 18 months. Frequent intermediate commitments were not met, including 3 committed installation dates. -We had to travel across the country to attend the installations. We explained this to Infinity Energy. After incurring $2k in travel expenses because there was no notification of cancellation, Infinity Energy offered reimbursement. This did not happen. -The original price commitment was raised by 40% after 6 months had passed. Infinity Energy threatened to cancel the contract if we did not sign a new contract at this higher price so we signed. -In December 2022, Infinity Energy said they could not complete the project because it was disapproved by the City Planners. I contacted the very City Planner responsible for the project. He said he had approved. Thus Infinity Energy actually lied to us.

Started this process Oct. 1st 2022 it is now May 8th 2023 they came pulled some tile up was told the paper underneath was fine crew came out to install said the paper underneath was really bad they left a drill and bottle on my roof then was told I need to pay $7,100 to have roof repaired then after months of waiting partly due to weather they finally came to install I told them I was told from the very start they would need tp up grade my electrical panel, well they tried hooking it up anyway which caused different parts of my home to have no power now my heating and air doesn't work so they changed everything back but still no heating or air at that point I was told to hire someone to fix it and if I could prove it was their fault they would pay I said no you handle it 5 days later I climbed in the attic and found my unit became unplugged due to the panels being installed , 3 weeks later after leaving messages and texting with no response I'm still waiting to hear something I would never recommend them to anyone 0 communication from them.

1 year later

My story start in March of 2022. My wife and I were days away from moving into our brand new home. Our top priority was to add a second solar system to our home to cover what the builder installed system wouldn't cover. We also were looking to protect ourselves from the rolling blackouts that had been taking place over the past few years. We were not sold on the batteries so we opted to go with an idea we had which was a whole house back-up generator. We reached out to several companies for quotes and ultimately decided to go with Infinity Energy. As it would turn out it kicked of what has become a year long battle at this point with no end in sight. While working with the sales rep to determine the size of the system we would be adding, I asked the rep if they also installed transfer switches. My wife and I were looking to add a back up generator in with the system. There was no hesitation with his response, " yes we do!" I said, good let talk numbers. After a bit of back and forth the rep, we settled on a final price. I made sure to remind him that one of the most important components in this system was the transfer switch. He assured me, I would have it. We both agreed we would be moving forward and off we went. Paperwork had to be signed, we were sent you a docusign package, credit was pulled, financing obtained, at this point we had done everything asked of us expeditiously.  During this time we communicated via text mostly. Anytime I had a question, any time he need something from me or emailed something over, I was informed via text. Everything was moving so fast, I started feeling a little rushed. I was afraid something would be missed or forgotten.  I reached out to him for reassurance making sure the transfer switch had not been forgotten.  "No sir! It's all here in the contract."Having been put at ease we finished all the formalities and it was off to scheduling we went.  I believe we were scheduled in April for our install. Today is the day! The crew shows up ready to go. There are multiple guys on the roof anther guy working on the electrical panels, it was full steam ahead. I spent a little time with the foreman discussing the work being done. I was very happy with my decision to go with this company up and until this moment. I brought up the plans to add the generator and asked about the transfer switch. It was in this moment I was told by the foreman he didn't see it anywhere in his work order nor was he prepared to install one, but not to worry. He was going to call the shop and get it all sorted out. I said "ok." I was reassured again and again before they finished up that day. The guys were wrapping up for the day have gotten the lion share of the work done and the foreman tells me he'll be back tomorrow to finish up what's left. Well... the next day he returns and completes the solar system. Before he leaves he walks me through what to expect moving forward with inspections, the electrical company(PG&E), start up and so on. While we were discussing these things he also told me that they had broken several tiles on the roof that they would have to come back and repair. Having a background in construction myself that wasn't to be unexpected. I reminded them the tile color and pattern were specific and custom to the home and the would need to check with the builder to find out the style and brand. I then inquired into the transfer switch....he tells me the shop is still trying to work this out but not to worry. In my head I'm I thinking,  well they've got to come back out to replace the tiles so the can install the switch at that time once the get it figured out. That was nearly a year ago. I have made countless phone calls, sent emails, spoken to multiple people, each time having to retell my store. I get the same response every time. We will escalate this to the appropriate department and someone will be reaching back out to you. Rarely do I hear from them again until the next time I call.....and I mean rarely. In the dozens of calls and emails I sent out with a promise to reach back out, maybe 2 or 3 times did the actually follow through. It was nearly 6 months before somebody made it back out to replace my roof tiles. I can't help but think the only reason the came at all was because of how persistent I was. I called every other week for awhile. As time went on, I would call multiple times a day...multiple times a week...the closer it got to rainy season the more nervous and persistent I became.  They eventually made it out and replaced the tiles not long before the rain started for the season but I still have no transfer switch. I have continued to call, continued to be patient sent them the spec sheets for the equipment I planned on installing as they askedn but still no transfer switch. Laura who had been the most helpful upto this point in her last email tells me there is nothing else she can do for me and asked me politely to not reach out to her any longer. I'm running out of options here so I'm taking to reviews in hopes this gets their attention. Next stop is Facebook, Instagram, BBB, CFPB, and anybody else I can think of. If that doesn't work, then maybe legal action. I will not go quietly.

Scheduling and Damages done

First of all, Infiniti told us that it would take 4 working day and took over 3 1/2 months to start and finish the field work installing the 5 batteries. the tech's ( Cory and his team ) working in the field were not the problems, it was their office (SAM PETERS) starting the project then sending to other locations to start, etc. always having a excuse on why they were not here doing their work. The main problem is when they trenched for the power lines, they hit the power and water lines going to the water well, three locations of other water lines and another power line. when they hit the well water lines it put dirt into the lines that sent it thru the entire house, which we had to flush out all interior water lines. As of today I have left approx. . 10 or more messages to have a supervisor or manager to call me including SAM PETERS. I have had to complete all of the existing problems water, power and Calvert pipe that was hit by their trencher, as of today I'm out of pocket for part and misc. over $1,500. and still finding issues As of today it has been three (3) week leaving messages with both Rocklin office, SAM PERS and the Customer service departments with ZERO contacts (text, calls and or e-mails) Please DON NOT USE THIS COMPANY (Infiniti Energy INC.) FOR ANY WORK BATTERIES OR SOLAR. I feel that their Manager/s are not aware of how their office is ran, is why the messages left for their manager are not returned !

Quick and clean!

I worked with Michael from Infinity Energy and he has been there every step of the way from the moment I was introduced til any minor issues or questions we had months later, he made sure everything was taken care of quickly and without me having to reach out to call in again! The install was lightning fast! We got our panels installed only 15 days after we signed on!!! What I love is that I don't have to take on debt with Infinity Energy as they are the only company that allows for solar panel purchases without having to put a lien on my home, nor show up on my credit! I was able to use my additional credit to purchase a new car without issue as my credit was clean! I have to thank Michael especially, along with the installation crews. They look GREAT on my house, sleek black. Not like the bright blue / grid ones that can look a little ugly! They only use Tier 1 AAA rated panels which is the highest possible ranking for solar panels, and gave me a 25 year warranty with a production guarantee so I know I'm in good hands. I highly recommend them.
