Couldn't have asked for a better experience... From Beth Blake who quoted the job and explained all what was needed, to Destiny who helped schedule the install with the hiccups with the weather not cooperating to the installers who were professional to a tee and Rhonda who was the anchor at the end... Yo ho from a previous month of $250+ to the following two months at $20.58 .. What's not to like...

Very professional and efficient installation. 12 panels on the garage, 14 more above the attic. All work completed in one day - started at 9 AM, completed by 4:15 PM. We couldn’t be happier with Green Street.

We elected to go with Green Street Solar for our new house rather than the company our builder owns and recommended. The builder claimed their offer included a discount for $10K since we were building with them. However, Green Street Solar's price was 35% less. In addition, after doing some research on the panels offered, Green Street Solar uses the #1 ranked panel (& made in the U.S.A., Q-Cell. While the builder's company was offering a "knock-off" brand made in China. The system was installed on-time, within one-day, and we were up and running only a few days later. After 3 months, we are gathering far more energy than we are consuming. We are extremely happy about opur decision to go with Green Street Solar!

After multiple quotes, Greenstreet solar came in almost $10,000 less then their competition and made the complex process of getting permits and tax rebates really easy. They have great communication. We love having solar and love sunny days even more!

This company delivered and installed my solar system on time and as promised. The system is fully automatic and works well. My house generates more electricity than it uses. The system is large but was installed without problems in one day. Green Street Solar is highly recommended.

Green Street contact Russell Pfaller was professional discussing the product and helping set up the internet feed back for how well the system is operating. Green Street installed our system on a Monday, it was electrically inspected on Tuesday and the following Wednesday Lewes BPW installed the new meter. The process was basically seamless except for an electrical wiring disturbance with our dryer that was quickly rectified by Green Street. I would recommend this group if you’re considering solar.

Best price and very upfront and honest

Russell, the salesman explained everything well & returned every phone call while we were deciding. They were flexible with our wants & needs unlike the other solar company we talked to. Everyone was professional & showed up on time. Russell took a drone picture of our home after the solar install. we are happy to have that picture which was a nice touch. Looking forward to no to low electric usage bills

From the initial meeting to getting the system up and running they were right there. Happy to explain the whole process and why it would be best to use a certain design and how to work with the system after installation. They were very responsive with any questions and communication was easy. We had Russell through the entire process and he was great. The installers were efficient and even cleaned up after themselves. The whole crew is professional and will assist you in every step from design, applications, installation and even worked directly with the electric co-op to get the meter switched over. We are very happy with our system and would recommend any looking to talk to Green Street Solar!

We were referred to Green Street Solar by my parents and a family friend. All who had also used Green Street Solar to install their solar panels. Russell is amazing! Very "down to earth" and friendly. He was always on top of answering my emailed questions very quickly. The crew that installed the solar panels were professional and cleaned up really well.

Green Street Solar was very profession from start to finish. The project manager and installers were great to work with. They were also lower cost, listened/responded to our questions, and were more thorough in all respects compared to other companies that were initially contacted. They installed our system in less than two days, and did a great job to clean-up everything. Green Street Solar is a great company in all respects, and our solar system is working great to our benefit to reduce our carbon footprint !

From start to finish we were completely pleased with Green Street Solar. Russell, their marketing and survey person, was especially effective in explaining all the nuances and ins and outs of installing solar. He walked us through the paperwork, and even assisted with the HOA approval process. The installation team was amazing, and completed the job in a little over three hours. We are 100% satisfied with the solar experience, due mostly to the amazing people at Green Street Solar.

2 other companies were much higher I pricing and played with rebate numbers

Green Street Solar made it all easy. It's about a week after turning it on and my roof is feeding electricity into my house and back into the grid. Green Street described the process accurately and all went as planned. After doing some research I looked at 3 companies. I went with Green Street for the following main reasons: The equipment and warranties; their cost was much lower than the others; they clearly explained everything (unlike another company that gave me some fast-talk that further research showed was not so accurate); and perhaps most importantly my neighbor, who is an engineer and very picky about such things, used them on a prior house and put them on his new house, and praises their tech and price. The installation folks were friendly and skilled, and took great care to make the whole installation look professional and neat, including roof panels, the wires in the attic and garage, and boxes inside and outside. The office staff was very supportive, patiently answering my questions and making sure all the paperwork is in order. And there’s a lot of paperwork, mostly handled by Green Street but some of it I had to fill out and send back. They walked me through the whole process. The County and utility inspectors who came (there are several layers of inspections to go through, Green Street schedules them for you) mentioned that they never had issues with the installations from Green Street.

Our neighbor suggested we contact Green Street Solar and boy we are glad they did. This company is a hidden gem. They handled all the paperwork for us . The salesmen was pleasant and knowledgeable and he took the time to answer any and all of our questions. The process timeline was told to us and everything happened as promised. Did I mention they had the lowest quote of the 3 companies we contacted? In short, we highly recommend Green Street Solar!

A solar vendor came to my home and tried to interest me in going solar. I then went on line and made myself more knowledgeable on the subject from research on such sites as Solar Reviews and Energy Sage. Then I requested proposals from selected solar system vendors from the two above mentioned websites and I received six proposals. The next step was to select the best two vendors from the six proposals and meet with them, face to face, and ask specific questions about their design, components used, cost, warrantees, potential financing, etc. It turned out that two of the proposals stood out above the rest, thus, the process was limited to those two vendors. After the meeting with the two companies I requested a best and final proposal from each of them and used the following criteria to select the winner: • Solar System design • Components used and their performance, reliability, and warrantees • Company warrantee • Company performance and reliability as rated by solar reviews, BBB, YELP • DUN and Bradstreet company evaluation • Cost Green Street Solar was a clear winner using the above mentioned categories for the evaluation. In fact, they had the best system design, their components used were the best from a performance, reliability, and warrantee point of view, and the cost of their solar system was the lowest. Further, all of their reviews, on Solar Reviews, were outstanding which meant that from a reliability and maintenance point of view they were, again, excellent. The Green Street Solar person that I interfaced with during this entire process was Mr. Russell Pfaller. Russell's knowledge across the entire solar system spectrum is outstanding. He has continued to guide me through the installation and operations phase that we are now into. In particular he handled the State of Maryland grant application, guided me on how the SREC process works including my account setup, showed me how to use the solar system data app that we loaded onto my computer and my iphone, and showed me how to read my electric bill that will now show how much electric is generated, used, and the difference that exists each month. The entire experience with all of the Green Street Solar team has been outstanding and I look forward to our continuing working experience together as we now put the solar system into operation.

Great experience from survey and system design to installation and support. The entire team has been amazing to work with. Especially happy with the equipment, which is top-notch. Already producing nearly 50% of our energy needs - and that's with the sun still low in the sky during the winter months!

I was researching Solar pricing on the internet and was Contacted by Haleigh at Green Street the following day. The entire experience with Green Street Solar was amazing from start to finish. Russell came to our home and sat down with me and my wife. He thoroughly explained the process, recommendation for system size, the equipment that they use, and finally the cost. Russell made the entire process from loans to installation so easy and they were 35% less expensive than my 2nd best quote. They use the best panels and inverters in the industry. Prior to contacting Green Street we were dealing with another company. It took the other company over three months to give us the estimated cost. They did not provide the DE State portion nor did they break down the loan and how the tax credit would work. We called Green Street Solar and Russell Pfaller made an appointment to visit us two days later. His presentation was clear and broken down so we could totally understand it. Russell took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us a time line when each step would occur. We received all of our documents electronically.

We got 3 bids, and Green Street Solar was lowest, and had references to match the other bidders. Russell provided the estimate, was patient and clear in explaining the technology, pricing, and SREC (solar renewable energy credit) market, and came back for the "commissioning" of the system. He and the crew are trustworthy, take pride in their work, and get the job done quickly and well. There was a slight bowing in our array, due to the irregularity in our roof, and Russell was able to level it out so that, with the PV panels in place, the roof looks better than it did before. Haleigh is helpful in taking care of all the permitting and dealings with DEC; she also takes care of applying for the SREC auction, and the $2500 grant that's available in DE. All in all, an excellent experience - good workmanship, responsive, strong customer service ethic, good people, great value.

This is my second time working with Green Street Solar to get solar panels. They installed panels on my last house and did such a great job that I knew I would work with them again if I moved. So, when I did move, they were one of my first calls. As before, they handled everything and made the process super easy. Russell and Haleigh were my two main contacts at Green Street, and they are both so professional and knowledgeable, it is a pleasure to deal with them. I have done a lot of house flips over the years, and this contractor is exceptional. I love not having an electric bill, and based on the electric savings I've experienced, the whole system will pay for itself in less than 5 years. Pro tip: Consider getting critter guards for your solar array as part of the initial installation. I had a family of pigeons nest under the panels at my first home about 3 years after installation. Made a real mess of the front of my house until I had Green Street come out again and install critter guards on that system. When I was getting the panels for this new house, I just had them put the guards on from day 1. That said, you may also want to just wait and see if you have a problem. Friends of mine had their system installed 10(?) years ago and have never had an issue. It's not an expensive add-on when you do it as part of the initial installation though.

Green Street Solar was an all around, positive experience... Russell specified the system and was on the installation as well... Knowledgeable & took the time to thoroughly explain and respond to questions... They provided a straightforward, no nonsense proposal, without some of the gimmicks that other suppliers had proposed. Competitive pricing, superior installation technique, and timely installation, handling all of the paperwork with the state, as well as the utility. Nice finish work on the installation.

We added panes to existing solar array. Russell went right up onto the roof to be sure that we were able to maximize our new installation. Installation was on time and VERY professional. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great experience working with Russ. He answered every question and made the process go smoothly. The install went great. They were professional and did a very clean install. They install with an aluminum mounting system.

Green Street Solar took the time to walk me thru all the ins and outs of this system. I wanted to put on new shingles prior to putting on the solar panels and they worked with me on timing. As soon as the shingles were on they came about 2 days later and had the whole project completed in 2 days (42 panels). They were neat and cleaned up at the end of each day. If you didn't know to look for the panels you wouldn't notice them. They blended in perfectly. The system quality was awesome - they used the best. They explained the functioning of the system before leaving. Then they came back for a detailed explanation. I couldn't be happier with Green Street Solar. The energy savings are all they said it would be.

We started by getting four independent quotes from roof installers and solar cell installers. Not only was Green Street Solar the lowest quote, but they also excel in fast and timely responses to our questions. They also recommended a roofing contractor that they have worked with in the past. We asked for and got a list of their previous installs in our area, all of which we visited, and all had excellent experiences with Green Street Solar. Russell and Haleigh truly provided great services, and our solar cells were operating within a month or so in the summer, just in time catch all those solar irradiances! We recommend this company highly.

Being long time home owner and home improvement contractor I have enough experience to know what is good and what is bad. They came out on schedule, finished the job on schedule, cleaned up all debris, and i was given great instructions on details and operation.

We were very pleased with the concept of purchasing our system out right instead of the leasing option some companies offer. Although it does require more money upfront it is a much better deal all around. Green Street is an amazing company to work with. Russell came out and answered all our questions. He designed a system based on our needs and available space and worked with us each step of the way. The installation people were very professional as well and the job was completed very quickly. We have had the system for a little over 6 months and it's working well. We are excited to see what the summer months will produce!

Before selecting my solar provider I did research and requested proposals from two companies. One a nationally known provider and the other was Green Street Solar, a local provider. Having received two proposals, I was immediately impressed with Green Street Solar. Its proposal was more understandable and addressed all the issues that had been discussed up front with the salesman. It was an easy decision to accept the Green Street proposal. Once I accepted, Green Street went out of its way to work with me on HOA approval issues, the Inspection process, and electric company contact and final Authorization to Operate. The installation itself was quick, efficient, and they went out of their way to accommodate my panel and meter locations. The job was professional, and looks and works great! After installation and approval there was a mix up with the electric company not recognizing the solar power generation for two months. Once I figured this out through the electric company billing department, and couldn't get through to its solar energy department, I contacted Haleigh at Green Street and she moved heaven and earth to get someone from the electric company to return my calls. They did so within 24 hours and resolved the operation error by going back to the date the Authorization to Operate was issued to me and correcting the billing issues with a resultant credit in my favor. Notwithstanding the glitch with the electric company, I am a very happy with being a solar energy generator, and am a satisfied Green Street Solar customer for life!

My experience purchasing and having a 8.7kW grid tied system installed by from Green Street Solar was close to perfect! Price: Worth every penny; significantly less than big-box competition. Made it zero effort to get Delaware state grants for renewable energy, further reducing the cost. Customer service: Always friendly and always helpful. I asked them a LOT of technical questions and I always got technical answers. Documentation was provided along with each question helped tremendously in the decision making process. Focused on building the best solution for my needs. NEVER tried to upsell. Installation: Green Street Solar worked with me as I navigated challenges with my HOA review. Rescheduling the install date was a proactive discussion. Technicians were friendly and also answered all of my questions with a high level of technical detail. They did a fantastic job cleaning up my basement after installing the inverter. They cleaned up well outside, but I found a few small pieces of plastic that missed their eye, so I only gave them 4 stars in this category. Post Installation: I was provided with electronic copies of all project based documentation, from financials to hardware to solar site survey. The project manager spent an hour teaching me how to use the monitoring software and taught me how to manage configuration in the future. He also offered to help walk me through the renewable energy credit auctioning process in the following year. I've had at least one follow-up question a month after install and it was answered promptly. This level of continued support is highly valued. It's not fair to say Green Street Solar is the best because I haven't gone through the full process with all their competition, but I can say that I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and attention to detail based on my experience. Russell Pfaller and the installation team were extremely polite and professional. The whole process was easy. I spoke with one other company, but the process was long and complicated and no one from that company ever met me in person.
