Untrustworthy company
Marc Candelaria lied to us from the moment we signed the contract with him, as we learned after the fact. He lied about the delays in obtaining the necessary permit from the City of Poway, up until the moment when he lied and said that our solar installation had passed inspection with the City inspector. On top of his lies, there were delays in starting the installation by almost three months. Finally, he took advantage of our good faith in dealing with us during and after the solar system installation was done. As a result of his behavior and untrustworthy character, we filed a complaint with the Contractors State Licensing Board of California. Marc Candelaria was referred to us by a good friend, who is currently suing Candelaria Solar for a similar situation with the solar system Marc installed for him. This is public record.

Delay in finishing project on schedule was caused by weather interrupting roof replacement and need to fix electrical work. New electrician who completed the fix was extraordinarily competent and professional. Owner, Marc Candelaria, was always professional and responsive. Strong positive recommendation.

If it were not for Marc with CANDELARIA ELECTRIC, I would have never made the switch to solar. He offered intelligent explanations on every single question and concern I had. Everything he said he was going to do, he did, only better! my experience with CANDELARIA ELECTRIC was nothing short of excellence.
